Sonic was racing Shadow as they neared the finish. "I'm gonna get there first, Shadow!"

Shadow slowed down and jumped through the trees and they reached the finish at the same time. "Alright, Sonic, let's get to our training."

A black and red wolf watched in the shadows, her red eyes flashing with curiosity and her tail waving in a gentle breeze. She shape shifted into her Mobian form and sat on a tree branch, ears perked and listening for any sounds. Her muzzle, unlike most wolves, was a soft peach color and looked more like a hedgehog's muzzle then a wolf's. She smirked a bit and covered herself in the shadows once more, only her deep crimson eyes showing among the brambles.
